Mini Movers was established in 2009 and primarily delivered by Gina Roberts who has over 20 years’ experience of working with children in education and community settings.
Gina graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Arts before completing a PGCE in secondary dance education at Brighton University.
Since graduating and returning to South Wales, Gina has worked as a freelance dance practitioner for many community arts organisations and arts development teams taking part and leading various classes, performances and projects.
Gina is a recognised Arts Champion and delivers creative movement sessions in schools and has also work on the Lead Creative Schools Scheme supported by the Arts Council of Wales.
Mini Movers has also been recognised for their intergenerational work with United Welsh Housing Association and was runner up for the ‘Together’ award for Best Community Project.
